Where Did All the Dinosaurs Go?

In the second grade, we had a unit all on dinosaurs. The teacher made the lessons immersive. I became so infatuated with dinosaurs. On the last day of the unit, someone asked where the dinosaurs were now, and the teacher said very plainly, "They're all dead." Everyone immediately cried. I was particularly inconsolable. That childhood memory inspired this project.
